Jimmy Kimmel played a variation of this game at Coachella this past weekend, where a host asked attending fans to discuss made-up bands they claimed were playing the show, and of course, everybody heard of every band. Watch:

The cynical part of me feels that the "host" voiceover is actually added in editing after the fact, and while they were interviewing these people, they mentioned bands that actually exist. But I don't want to ruin the illusion for myself, so I'll just pretend it's all real.
