Alright, I'm going to level with you here. This box set contains the only four Rob Zombie albums that matter, and he nows damn well that's the case.
You know how when you were a kid and Linkin Park first started out, you thought they were the sickest thing ever? Well I did, and I loved the living crap out of those two first records. Then they decided to write unlistenable music and ruin my nostalgia. This is the exact same case for Mr. Zombie. According to the good folks over at Blabbermouth.com-
On May 14, Universal Music Group will release the "Classic Album Collection" from ROB ZOMBIE, featuring the albums "Hellbilly Deluxe"(1998), "The Sinister Urge" (2001), "Educated Horses" (2006) and"Past, Present, & Future" (2003). Each album will come in a new slipcase with a placeholder card for the new album to allow fans to complete their full Rob Zombie studio album set.
Yeah… I mean, there's not even bonus tracks or anything. I'm just getting the records with different artwork and in a nice case. That might do it for some people, but I can't hear a nice case or artwork. Plus, I don't care.
