DEFTONES Pay Tribute To Late KRISS KROSS Rapper

For all those unaware, Kriss Kross was a rap group in the 90's that made that song "Jump." One of the duo, Chris Kelly, passed away in Atlanta, GA, at the age of 34.

So Deftones were apparently pretty big fans of the rap duo, and decided to do one of their songs live May 1 as a tribute to the band. Hell, they even took it a step further and some of them wore their pants backward as a tribute to the duo, since that's what they did for whatever reason anyone ever does anything stupid when they're famous. The cover is actually pretty sweet too, and Moreno manages to get a few screams in there because he's Chino Moreno and will do precisely whateve the hell it is he wants to do on a day-to-day basis. Regardless, big ol' rest in peace to Kelly. Being a kid in the 90's I remember the song a little bit, though I wasn't like, super into it when it came out or anything. Still- a life is a life.
