It seems as though Tim Lambesis might be getting out of jail for the time being. The San Diego District Attorney’s Office has granted Tim Lambesis a new bail hearing tomorrow, May 17th. Lambesis had plead not guilty to one count of solicitation of murder after attempting to hire a hitman to murder his wife.
The San Diego Reader reports that the As I Lay Dying vocalist will have a hearing tomorrow at 1:30pm PST at the North County Superior Courthouse in San Diego.
His attorney, Anthony Salerno, who has previously stated he believes his client was setup by an informant, will go in front of Judge David Berry and present a new arguement as to why Lambesis' bail should be lowered from the current $3 million dollar fee.
While Salerno will try to argue entrapment and claim that Lambesis did no wrong doing, prosecutor Claudia Grasso previously asserted they have Lambesis on tape being asked if he wants his wife killed with him responding "yes, that's exactly what I want."
We will be sure to report on the story as more develops tomorrow.
