GHOST Wins Hard Rock/Metal Album Of The Year Award At Swedish Grammis

Sweden – cooler than America.

Ghost Swedish Grammis

Ghost beat out Arch Enemy, Amon Amarth, The Halo Effect, and Watain at the Swedish Grammis to take home the Hard Rock/Metal Album Of The Year award. Ghost lost to Tove Lo in both the Album Of The Year and Artist Of The Year categories, but still – pretty damn good! And if you're wondering who the hell is behind Forge in the above acceptance award screenshot, it's Impera producer Klas Åhlund and Impera songwriters Salem al Fakir, Vincent Pontare, and Max Grahn.

Ghost is no stranger to the Grammis Awards, having been nominated six times and winning three over the years in the Best Hard Rock/Metal Album – 2014 for Infestissumam, 2015 for Meliora, and 2016 for Popestar. Ghost was nominated last in 2019 for Prequelle in the same category, but lost to Tribulation's Down Below album.
