One security guard during Terror's opening set for The Black Dahlia Murder didn't quite get hardcore as a genre. The show took place on March 5 at the Ridglea Theater in Fort Worth, TX, where one security guard was tossing fans trying to get on stage to sing along. Which during like, a Dream Theater show or something would make sense – but this is hardcore. Getting on stage to sign along and stage dive is the whole thing.
The guard then took things in an inappropriate directon by grabbing Terror vocalist Scott Vogel's microphone to tell everyone "I don't think so." During the middle of Terror's set. On Vogel's live microphone that he's currently using. What the fuck, man?
Terror weighed in on the situation, saying "Ridglea Theater in Ft. Worth easily has the worst security this band has encountered in all 20 years of existence. And if you know us, that's saying A LOT."
Knocked Loose vocalist Bryan Garris also commented, saying "Security guard at hc/metal show that has never seen a hc/metal show is the dumbest shit of all time. Fuck them all." As did Colin Young (God's Hate, Twitching Tongues), who added "Security guards that abuse their crumb of power to fulfill their fantasies of roughing up kids should be beaten into a medically induced coma with zero exceptions."
