GHOST Delays Digital Release Of Phantomime By One Day

May 19 is the new date.

Ghost Jesus

Ghost has pushed back the digital release of their new covers EP Phantomime from May 18 to May 19. Ghost didn't give a specific reason for the digital delay other than they wanted it to "match the physical street date." Why Ghost chose to release the EP digitally one day early is a mystery, but think no more – it ain't happening like that now.

"We wish to inform you it can be difficult to find good help these days… While the clergy is all-powerful, they're unfortunately not infallible," wrote Ghost. "The digital release date for Phantomime has been pushed back one day to May 19th to match the physical street date. Let it be noted that the member responsible for this miscommunication has been officially Defroqued…"

Phantomime runs as follows.

  1. "See No Evil" (Television cover)
  2. "Jesus He Knows Me" (Genesis cover)
  3. "Hanging Around" (The Stranglers cover)
  4. "Phantom of the Opera" (Iron Maiden cover)
  5. "We Don't Need Another Hero" (Tina Turner cover)

"Rite Here Rite Now is a mostly comprehensive and extremely enjoyable—but slightly pointless—complement to Ghost's first film."
