You could be forgiven for being unaware that Orgy are still around. The Candyass band hasn't done a whole lot of note in that time, releasing another pair of albums in the early aughts and eventually reuniting to make some new tunes, like 2015's Talk Sick and a handful of singles since then.
They performed in Las Vegas at Sick New World last weekend, putting on a set that drew criticism for its heavy use of what appears to be backing tracks; in the video above, Orgy are heard "playing" music while not playing their instruments, which also appears to be the case for singer Jay Gordon.
Orgy certainly wouldn't be the only band accused of using backing tracks. Mötley Crüe has faced similar criticisms numerous times and Falling in Reverse had feelings on the matter.
The band has yet to comment on the performance. Its most recent social media post thanks fans for attending Sick New World and gives props to the headliners.
