BURTON C. BELL Returns With A Cover Of RAMMSTEIN's "Du Hast"

A logical choice for Bell.

Burton C. Bell has slowly been resurfacing after his departure from Fear Factory in 2020. Bell made an appearance in 2021 with a local band to cover Fear Factory's "Replica" and, despite being staunchly against going back to Fear Factory, has made it well known that he'll perform the band's songs on his upcoming solo tour. But in the meantime, we've finally got some non-Fear Factory related Bell news!

Bell is now streaming his cover of the Rammstein classic "Du Hast" as a part of the A Tribute To Rammstein covers album due out on August 25 via Cleopatra Records. The cover fits Bell's vocal style extremely well, and feels like a logical choice given its industrial leanings and Bell's entire career doing exactly that kind of music.

The cover features Killing Joke drummer Paul Ferguson on drums and guitar, as well as a mix and production by Mark Gemini Thwaite (MGT). Check it out below.

"TODAY IS THE DAY that my #breakout #debut #singletrack of #duhast is released!" said Bell on his Instagram. "Thank you to everyone @cleopatrarecords for bringing me, @markgeminithwaite and @bigpaulferguson together to produce this energized version of @rammsteinofficial #iconic song. I've only just begun. #burtoncbell #drylungvocalmartyr #annhilisticautomoton".

A Tribute To Rammstein runs as follows:

  1. "Du Hast" – Burton C. Bell, Paul Ferguson & MGT
  2. "Deutschland" – Front Line Assembly
  3. "Sonne" – Skold
  4. "Engel" – Priest
