If you dug 2011's Worship Music, then you should be excited to know Anthrax are back in the studio working on a new album.
Now that the band has gotten that 5th member dilemma squared away with Shadows Fall guitarist Jon Donais officially in the band, the band can focus on writing new material.
According to a series of tweets over the weekend by guitarist Scott Ian, the band is now in writing mode with producer Jay Ruston:

No word on when the band actually plans on releasing the album, but my bet is on spring/summer 2014. They'll probably take the rest of the year to write and record and will have everything ready for the summer festival season. Could a stint on Mayhem Fest be on the horizon?
