Welcome to a new feature here at Metal Injection called "Spinal Tap Moment," inspired by the cult classic '80s mockumentary, where we chronicle hilarious bloopers bands face on the road.
Today's post focuses on Holy Grail frontman James-Paul Luna, who was recently left stranded at a Starbucks coffee shop by his band.
Luna posted the above photo with the attached status saying his band left him stranded at a Kamloops, British Columbia coffee shop with only his phone to his name. That's got to be an awkward text to send to the rest of your bandmates.
Luna had a sense of humor about the situation commenting in the photo post:
"Maybe this was their way of firing me and they're gonna get Wyatt Anderson or Michael Gremio or Peter Ellis or Joseph Michael or [G]iles something to replace me with out telling me."
All of those are former vocalists of White Wizzard, who's drama we've been chronicling.
Further updates on the band's Facebook page show that everything worked out for the best and the band continued on their Canadian tour. Get dates here.
