Fleshgod Apastalypse Apocalypse announced they'd be releasing two separate bottles of wine mid-October, so the next logical step in both celebrating their Italian heritage and generally classy death metal was to release a pasta brand, right? Of course it is. This has been a really interesting year in terms of food items released by bands (and in the name of bands), though most of them were just alcohol. Which is definitely food.  The band announced their pasta via Facebook early Saturday afternoon and was met with a lot of negativity, mostly because this is the Internet and we'll hate on band pasta. It's available in the band's global online store and comes in four different varieties. Big up to Fleshgod for thinking outside the box on this one! The band had to say about the pasta:
"You know, wearing a t-shirt from your favourite band can be awesome, but what about something a bit more… extreme? There's a trademark we're REALLY proud of as Italians, and we're pretty sure you guys know what we're talking about… We proudly present our EXTREME FOOD PASTA!!! You can purchase it directly from our official store, in four different versions. Spaghetti have never looked so BRUTAL, don't you think? \m/"
If you live in the States, don't get too excited. When priced out, with the dollars to Euros conversion, it costs about 70 bucks for some dang pasta!
