The odds of there being a new Slipknot release in 2014 look very very good, despite the fact the band does not officially have a drummer, after their falling out with longtime drummer Joey Jordison.
But, if there was any concerns that the lack of drummer would prevent the band from getting to work on new music, you are mistaken. Jim Root, who purposely sat out the current Stone Sour tour to work on new music, just posted this photo on his Instagram:
The caption reads:
Sig love on the API. #fenderguitar#work#thecoffeeheresucks#slipknot2014
So Slipknot is in the studio. Why would Jim lie?
As for their drummer, we have some suggestions on who could replace Joey.
