Karnivool is set for festivals like Download and Hellfest later this year, but they're also making sure they show their home country of Australia some love. Karnivool has announced five shows for this May and June, which you can get your tickets for right here.

As far as new Karnivool material, vocalist Ian Kenny said in a 2023 interview with Rock'n'Roll Journalist that it's all still in the works.
"In 2016 right we thought, 'cool. [Let's] go start the next record' and we did," said Kenny. "We sort of hit some roads and you know, things changed. The studios changed. We moved away. We don't live in the same city anymore, we all kind of live separate. Fast forward to now and Karnivool only gets together a handful of times a year to write music.
"It's not like it was ten years ago. Ten years ago we lived in the same city and we were different people. We didn't have families – we've all got families now and that sort of stuff. Fast forward ten years, we only get together a handful of times a year to actually write stuff. So that's put a huge delay in more music coming out.
"We've got a record sitting there. I think I think we've got enough songs for it. It's just a matter of finalizing and committing to the music and getting it done. I don't know if it will be a record. Maybe an EP, maybe two EPs actually. I think everyone has this assumption that Karnivool is full time working on this record. We're not at all."
Fortunately it's not like Karnivool has been completely silent – they've been playing shows and they released a new single "All It Takes" in 2021.
