Bonnaroo might inititally strike you as a hippie fest, but the 2014 iteration is shaping up to be a little strange this year. You've got yourself some Elton John, Kanye West, Skrillex like four times in a row on the top two lines because he's obviously "jamming" with everyone and their cat for some reason and then you have three metal acts…
Mastodon, Meshuggah and Deafheaven… yeah I know. Weird.
I'm definitely stoked for these bands to be recognized at such a huge music festival because that's obviously a huge, huge deal, but man are they low on the bill! I guess that makes sense because the majority of the concert isn't heavy, but still… Meshuggah down that low? C'mon now. Meshuggah should be direct support to Elton John, everybody knows that!
