Graveripper is breaking the tradition of covering Misfits or Halloween by covering vocalist Glenn Danzig's less-talked-about other band, Samhain! Graveripper is now streaming their renditions of "In My Grip" from 1986's Samhain III: November-Coming-Fire and "Black Dream" from 1984's Initium, both of which you can get on Bandcamp right here.
"Get ready to be ripped apart by our tribute to the dark and haunting sounds of two Samhain classics, 'In My Grip' and 'Black Dream'," said Graveripper guitarist and vocalist Corey Parks. "The music of Danzig/Samhain/The Misfits has always been a tremendous influence on me, and I hope these interpretations honor the raw energy and eerie atmosphere of classics with the added Graveripper style.
