Ooof! Somebody at the Warner Records social media department is in trouble. This morning, Mastodon's Twitter account has been hacked by the Vv3 hacking group, notorious for breaking into celebrity accounts and blasting them with offensive language and imagery.
They've taken over Mastodon's account, changed all the images and thumbnails and are posting racist and homophobic bullshit such as:
The oddest thing about this whole thing is that as of an hour ago, Mastodon posted a new tweet, basically ignoring all the racist postings from last night:

In all fairness, that could've been an automated tweet. Our hope is by getting this story out there, somebody in Mastodon's camp will see it and change their password already!
Update: Well, it looks like once we posted about it, somebody in the Mastodon camp figured to reset the passwords. They just posted this update:
