I gotta be honest with you all – every time I run these weekend polls, I think to myself "surely there will be some competition among the options." And then everyone flocks to one specific choice and it blows everything else out of the water. This poll regarding Mastodon's was no different. You'll see how it all shook out below. A few other notes before the results:
- There was no clear-cut loser on this poll, either. Usually there's one choice that massively lags behind the rest, but the lower vote counts were pretty consistent (until they ramped up)
- It makes me happy that Once More 'Round The Sun didn't come in last. I maintain that is Mastodon's most underrated record
- Y'all really like Crack The Skye, huh? Hot damn. Don't get me wrong, it's a great album, but it wasn't even close
