Trivium frontman Matt Heafy just posted a new track online, but it's not a new Trivium track. According to the guitarist, he was recently asked to ghost write a track for a contemporary band. Ghost writing is of course the act of writing a track without recieving an official credit for it. The unnamed band ultimately passed on the track, so Heafy just posted it online. Heafy wrote on his official site:
I was recently asked to ghost-write a song for a contemporary band. The song ended up not being used, so I decided you guys may enjoy it. Here it is, “The Wretchedness Inside.”

Heafy is also offering a free download of the track. But the question here is who did Heafy write the track for? It could be literally anyone, so we'll leave the speculation up to you in the comments.
