Idle Heirs is the brand new band featuring Coalesce frontman Sean Ingram and producer Josh Barber (Norma Jean, The Devil Wears Prada, Tech N9ne) that introduced themselves to the world in October 2024. Today, Idle Heirs shares the first taste of music from their Life Is Violence debut album: "Rare Bird." It's a slow burner of a song with plenty of melody, but hot damn is it still a steamroller.
"We initially had no intention to share this record outside of our loved ones so there was absolutely no fear to go out on a limb (creatively) and just let it live wherever that went," wrote Ingram of the project upon its announcement. "In that way the record really wrote itself, and the bigger challenge was just getting out of the way and let it be what it wanted to be."
