LAMB OF GOD's Randy Blythe Lends Vocals to New PITCH BLACK FORECAST Track (Audio Available)

It's not a new Lamb of God song, but it's as close as we're going to get this year.

It's not a new Lamb of God song, but it's as close as we're going to get this year.

Lamb of God are using most of 2014 to take a break from their band, but Randy Blythe sure is keeping busy. Besides writing his memoir, Blythe has been popping up at random places, most recently on this new Pitch Black Forecast track.

The group formed in 2005 as a bit of a supergroup, formed by Mushroomhead frontman Jason Popson, with Gene "The Machine" Hoglan behind the drums and former Integrity bassist Steve Rauckhorst.

The band will be releasing a retrospective called As The World Burns via Ferocious Records on October 21st and today gave us a taste of a new version of their track "So Low" which features Randy Blythe's signature vocal delivery in much of the track. Hey, it's not new Lamb of God, but hearing Randy's voice in the context of a metal song is always fun:
