When Lamb of God's documentary As The Palaces Burn came out earlier this year, I said it was the documentary every metalhead needs to see, if for nothing else but the incredible courtroom footage captured during frontman Randy Blythe's Czech trial.
The doc. was initially screened at various movie theaters and then brought to video on demand but now, finally, it's getting a proper DVD release, with a whole lot of extra footage. When I interviewed Chris Adler in the lead up to the movie's release and he had mentioned that the original documentary was basically completed by the time of Randy's arrest and there was a ton of fan footage that didn't make the cut. Well, that footage, as well as extended interviews with Blythe, Dave Brockie, Slash and others will be included on a bonus DVD. Here is the entire tracklisting:
