The reason was Fearless Records' Punk Goes Pop Vol. 6, even though this cover is not punk and it can be argued that the original is not pop. But that's just semantics. Upon A Burning Body turned Lil Jon and DJ Snake's excellent tune into a generic metalcore song and then Ice T came in and made it slightly more tolerable. I want to make it clear I am talking no shit on Ice T, thus I will not get shot.
Ice-T recently also excellently covered Suicidal Tendencies' "Institutionalized."
