COGNIZANCE, have released their latest EP titled _INCEPTUM today along with a behind the scenes look documentary of the entire recording process streamed courtesy of Metal Injection. The documentary includes both songs from the EP, "The Succession of Flesh" and "Aeon of Creation" – both of which demonstrate the evolution of modern death metal. The filming and recording took place over 2 continents and 5 different studios, and was filmed and produced by Tommy Jones of Videohammer Studios (TESTAMENT, SUFFOCATION, DEATH ANGEL) with Eyal Levi handling all recording, audio production and mixing duties.
_INCEPTUM also includes killer guest spots by Frank Mullen (SUFFOCATION), Eyal Levi (DAATH, MONUMENTS, REFLECTIONS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, ARSIS), Jason Suecof of Audiohammer Studios (TRIVIUM, DEICIDE, DEATH ANGEL, SIX FEET UNDER), and drum work by Alex Rudinger (THE FACELESS, CONQUERING DYSTOPIA).
