If you thought Trap Them's Blissfucker ruled as much as I did, then you are going to love this new hardcore band based out of Long Island. They are called New Plague, and they are streaming their debut self-titled EP right now over at American Aftermath.
Recorded by Kevin Bernsten in Baltimore and mastered by the acclaimed Brad Boatright at Audioseige in Portland, the self-titled EP features six short but very intense tracks that “aim to rip you limb from limb.” New Plague will be released tomorrow, February 24, via Fly The Light (U.S.) and Frail Abuse Records (U.K.).
New Plague was formed in 2013 on Long Island, New York, by Steve Hayduk, Herman Isaza, Eric Boardman, and Christian Peters. The Long Island quartet embodies aspects of blackened hardcore, thrash, black metal, metalcore, and the like.
