SHINING (SWE) Drops A New Track, "Besök Från I(ho)nom"

Not the Shining with the saxophone. The one about killing yourself.

Sweden's Shining, the one with all the depression and black metal, is dropping a new record IX – Everyone, Everything, Everywhere, Ends on Apr. 21 via Season of Mist. Admittedly, I've only listened to Norway's Shining up to now, so why not get into Sweden's as well? It took me a few listens to really wrap my head around “Besök Från I(ho)nom," but it's a cool song overall. It's very jumpy from section to section, the instruments clash in an interesting way and frontman Niklas Kvarforth sounds really pissed off about being alive. Glorious!

What's up with Sweden and being great at music? Seriously. It's kind of bullshitty that one area of the world got all the talent.
