Lamb of God's Randall Blythe has been a busy man as of late, most notably because of his upcoming memoir titled Dark Days. Then, when he's not knocking out his insane life story, he's writing music for Richmond Ballet’s New Works Festival. Trust me what you're about to hear is not what you're expecting after reading that Blythe has written for a ballet. Think less along the lines of orchestral music and more along the lines of sped up Sunn O))). Ready?

I wasn't kidding. That was essentially the exact opposite of what I thought it was going to be. I'm left to wonder too if that was indicative of how the piece sounds as a whole… we'll see. Blythe says via his Tumblr:
"My friend Matt Frain is the choreographer, the trailer is of some of the dancers rehearsing in the studio, with bits of the music I did taken from two different sections of the composition. Hope some of y’all will come out to hear the whole thing!"
Then, outside being serious, Blythe covers "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" with corpse paint on for no readily apparent reason in Phillip Island, Australia with Sam Haycroft (Sydonia).
