While System of A Down bassist Shavo Odadjian has teased that the band has new songs written for a long-awaited followup to Mesmerize/Hypnotize, he clearly had enough free time to collaborate with the makers of the upcoming Mortal Kombat X video game on creating a trailer for the game featuring System of A Down's music. The trailer was just released earlier today. Take a look:

Odadjian previously directed the SOAD music videos for "Aerials", "Toxicity", "Hypnotize" and "Question!," so he knows his way around Final Cut Pro. A behind-the-scenes video on the creation of the trailer was released a few days ago:
