Melodic death metal is such an easy genre to fuck up. All it takes a few generic licks and you're immediately lumped in with every ripoff band out there… which is fine, because Graveworm is not in that pile and that's all I care about right now. The band's new song "Blood/Torture/Death," is jam-packed with memorable melodies and generally marries hateful heaviness with light, airy lead guitar and string work.
You will buy the band's new album Ascending Hate when it's out July 7 via AFM Records, because this seems like it's going to be awesome to blast in the car.
