People in Great Britain who complain about the United States getting all the good tours have nothing to complain about this fall. Just announced for five dates in the UK: Megadeth, Lamb of God, Children of Bodom and Sylosis. Guess who's drumming for Megadeth?
Well, we already told you in the headline!
Chris Adler is pulling double duty and performing a full set with both Lamb of God and Megadeth. That's at least two full hours of drumming for Mr. Adler, who said it would be an honor to continue to drum for Megadeth, but Lamb of God is the first priority for him. Well, this seems like quite a good compromise. If both bands play together, then Adler could fill both duties. Here are the dates:
11/09 – 3 Arena, Dublin Eire
11/11 – Braehead Arena, Glasgow U.K.
11/12 – Apollo, Manchester U.K.
11/14 – The SSE Arena, Wembley U.K.
11/15 – O2 Academy
After that, Megadeth leaves the tour and it's Lamb of God, Bodom and Sylosis:
11/17 – Stuttgart, Germany – LKA Longhorn
11/18 – Tilbourg, Netherlands – 013
11/19 – Oberhausen, Germany – Turbinenhalle
11/20 – Wiesbaden, Germany – Schlachthof
11/22 – Zurich, Switzerland – Komplex
11/23 – Lausanne, Switzeland – Les Docks
11/24 – Milan, Italy – Alcatraz
11/25 – Munich, Germany – Kesselhaus
11/26 – Vienna, Austria – Gasometer
11/28 – Leipzig, Germany – Haus Auensee
11/29 – Brussels, Belgium – Ancienne Belgique
11/30 – Hamburg, Germany – Docks
No word on if more collaborative dates are planned, but Adler already has one other gig lined up with Megadeth. If Dave Mustaine had his way, Adler would be drumming for 'deth full time.
Also, if you missed it, do yourself a favor and check out Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe sitting in on the RIP a Livecast for over an hour and talking about his new book, Dark Days, the truth about his comment on clean singing, and his thoughts on the confederate flag. Take a listen here
