A few days ago, the internet exploded over the news that Budweiser would be releasing a limited edition Metallica-branded beer. As part of the promotion, nearly 100,000 cans of the black beer cans will be printed and available for sale later this month in Quebec. It's all to celebrate the band's two sold-out performances, as they closed out the Colisée Pepsi on the 14th and ushered in up the new venue, Centre Vidéotron, last night. At the final sold out show, the tank of Metallica beer pulled up to to the venue. Seeing the above photo on the Centre Vidéotron Facebook page, just reminded of the scene in the Simpsons where Barney wins the local film festival and gets a tank of Duff beer and responds "just hook it to my veins!"

Prior to the event, fans got up and signed the tank. No word if anybody actually got any free beer out of it. If you happened to be there, leave a comment and let us know.
