Alice In Chains put out three albums and three EPs between 1990 and 1995 with frontman Layne Staley, who unfortunately passed away in 2002. Staley's legacy lives on through the band's music, though now there are rumblings of eight Staley songs that could be released possibly this year.
According to the Twitter account of Jesse Holt, friend of Staley's and former guitarist/vocalist of Second Coming, there are eight songs Holt is in possession of that have Staley singing on them.

Holt is looking to enlist Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready for the effort, though there are no explanations of if this is Staley's solo work or if he's got a band behind him. I guess we'll see? I also imagine we'll be hearing from the Staley estate as well.
