SIKTH Singer Justin Hill Steps Down, Replaced By ALIASES Vocalist

It's an extremely logical replacement.

It's an extremely logical replacement.

Sikth was active from 1999 to 2008, and then from 2013 onward. During the latter period we've even gotten a new EP called Opacities, which is pretty damn great and retains the band's signature weirdness. Unfortunately, that's also the last recording you'll have heard one of the band's two vocalist's voice on, as Justin Hill has called it quits.

Hill has sung on every Sikth release to date (outside the demos), so it sucks to see him go. Hill states the band will be touring more and will be doing a new album, which will interfere with his studio work, so he'll be stepping down and will be replaced by Aliases vocalist Joe Rosser.

It's worth noting Aliases also has Sikth guitarist Graham "Pin" Pinney, so Rosser is probably a good choice. Below are both the band's statements, as well as some Aliases for you to jam on.
