Danzig's 2016 is going pretty well so far, considering he's reuniting with the Misfits and playing some shows to presumably sold out crowds. On top of that, Danzig is also in the studio with current and former members of his solo band knocking out a new record and his long-talked about Elvis covers record.
Seriously, Danzig has a lot to prove with a cover record right now, considering how poorly-received his 2015 covers record Skeletons was received.
“DANZIG was in the Studio this week working on the next DANZIG record of all new material since 2010’s critically acclaimed ‘Deth Red Sabaoth‘.He was joined by longtime guitarist Tommy Victor & former drummer & friend Joey Castillo. Joey Castillo also layed down some drums on an Elvis track for the ‘DANZIG sings ELVIS‘ Record, which DANZIG says is now finished & ready for release. Can’t Wait!!”
So Danzig Sings Elvis sounds like it's out this year, but that statement doesn't say much about when we could possibly expect a new Danzig studio album. Hopefully 2016 as well?
