Look, if you haven't watched Stranger Things on Netflix yet, you're missing out big time. The character development in the show is great, the callbacks to 80s horror flicks are great, the story line is top quality… the list goes on. Oh, and now you've got one more reason to like Steve – he's got a band.
Joe Keery, the actor who plays Steve in the show, has been in a psychedelic semi-prog rock sort of band called Post Animal for a few years now. Well, semi-prog or just straight up psychedelic rock. Genres, right? You really ought to check out the band's material below if you're in the mood to lose yourself in some soundscapes that are basically the total opposite of Stranger Things' musical themes…
Speaking of the music from Stranger Things! Did you know that the group who does the theme is called S U R V I V E and has an album of very similar-sounding music coming out on August 30 via Relapse Records called RR7349? Well, you do now. Jam that as well (and pre-order it here)!
