Soen, the band that consists of drummer Martin Lopez (ex-Opeth, ex-Amon Amarth), bassist Stefan Stenberg, vocalist Joel Ekelöf, guitarist Marcus Jidell (Avatarium, ex-Royal Hunt), and keyboardist Lars Åhlund, is all geared up to release its third album. The album is titled Lykaia and will be out on February 3 via UDR Music.
You can check out five separate clips of music from the album below, and I have to say that these sound a lot more diverse than the band's previous efforts. Instead of just a very heavily Tool-influenced record, Lykaia sounds like it really branches out this time! Which is great, because these are some seriously talented guys.
