We've covered Caricature countless times here on Metal Injection, and we're going to continue to do so until everyone realizes that Caricature is genius. This time around we've got a new track off the band's upcoming Unborn EP, and it's heavy as balls.
"End Of Two Worlds" is relentlessly heavy without relying on growls and screams. Think of a classic heavy metal track taken about an octave down with the rhythm section of a band like Gojira. More interestingly perhaps is that the song, and the whole EP, is played entirely by vocalist Joseph Spiller.
The only other person you'll hear on this track is a guest solo from guitarist Ray Suhy (Six Feet Under, Cannabis Corpse, etc.). The track was mastered by James Murphy (Testament, Death), and was co-arranged by producer Peter Rutcho (Parkway Drive, Bury Your Dead, Revocation).
Get into it, and pre-order the EP here. Unborn will be out digitally on December 9.
