Darkest Hour ran a very successful crowdfunding campaign to fund its new album, and come March 2017 we'll get to hear the proverbial fruits of their labor! Darkest Hour will be releasing Godless Prophets & The Migrant Flora on March 10 via Southern Lord Records, an album that was produced by the legendary Kurt Ballou (High on Fire, Nails, Converge). It also has really killer artwork done by Shaun Beaudry!
The effort is 12 tracks long, and will feature contributions by guitarist Kris Norris, who was a part of the band from 2002 to 2008. It's also probably worth mentioning that Norris is no longer part of Vimic, so maybe he'll continue on with Darkest Hour again?
Catch Darkest Hour on tour supporting the album at one of the dates below, which a press release says will be added to in the future. The tour will be supported by Ringworm and Rivers of Nihil, and then Rotten Sound from Febrary 17 to March 4, and Tombs from March 5 to March 21. The tour is sponsored by MetalSucks, who have tickets available now!
