Here's A Heavy New NINE INCH NAILS Song, "Burning Bright," EP Released One Day Early

The new stuff is weird.

The new stuff is weird.

Nine Inch Nails' new EP Not The Actual Events has been a long time coming, though we didn't have any idea when it was actually due out. Last week, Nine Inch Nails announced the EP for this Friday, and that long-time collaborator Atticus Ross was now a part of the band.

In keeping with the tradition of Trent Reznor doing whatever he wants, Not The Actual Events can be purchased and heard in full through NIN's website today. If you're waiting for digital distribution, check out the new song "Burning Bright (Field On Fire)."

The song is definitely strange and seems to idle where it starts, but in that regard I kind of like it. It's one long statement that doesn't waver, and it's heavy. Though Trent did say it was going to be an inaccessible EP, didn't he?
