The past 24 hours has seen the Dank Slams office turned into the land of living, breathing, slobbering bobbleheads – our craniums engorged to the point we can no longer pass through doorways unencumbered. No, we know what you are thinking, this swelling is not related to our over-inflated egos. Read on.
This sudden fit of braincase distention is in fact directly related to a brand new song we received at the dank offices yesterday morning – a song so unfuckinbelievably crushing it literally played on repeat for the entirety of the day. Yep. It's that goddamn good. In fact, what you are about to hear is – hands down – the best slammin brutal death metal song to emerge since a little track called "Your Treachery Will Die With You" dropped back in 2009 from a band you might have heard of called Dying Fetus.
We are incredibly stoked to bring you the very first public listen/look of the brand new Cranial Engorgement song, entitled "Molded By Cruelty" – streaming exclusively here on Dank Slams. The track is taken from their forthcoming album Horrific Existence, and features none other than the man, the legend, – John Gallagher of Dying Fetus fame.
Imagine, if you will, a slammier/beefier version of DF – with John sounding the best he ever has in his role as guest vocalist on this song. I know, hard to believe, but it's all true, friends. Might we add that it's about bloody time a band emerged that gives the mighty DF a run for their money! Even harder to believe, the Cranial guys hover somewhere around half the age of Gallagher and crew. What does this mean? Well, for one, we can expect years upon years of slammin brutality.
