Things did not go as expected for Metallica during their GRAMMYs performance on Sunday with Lady Gaga. At the very start, Laverne Cox forgot to introduce Metallica, but has since apologized.

Then James Hetfield's mic stop working. Eventually, we learned the reasons for the sound issues was a stagehand accidentally unplugging a chord. But what if the performance had just gone as planned?

Metallica fan page RoLoad has either found or put together a video that fixed James' audio problems. How they did it, I am unsure of. There is some speculation in the comments that this was off the webstream of the GRAMMYs show. But I watched the webstream live, and there were still the audio issues. This is clearly a fan who found live vocals of Hetfield signing the song and edited them in. Either way, it works and makes the performance a million times better:
