In a recent interview, Devin Townsend stated that he feels as though he's almost done with The Devin Townsend Project's sound, or at least that he needs to morph into something else. So it stands to reason that at least one of the coming four Devin Townsend albums could very well be that morphing!
It's also worth noting that he says he's writing four album – who knows when they're coming out, what they're for, and if they'll even be the same albums in the end that he began with.
