FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Guitarist Says Ivan Moody Quitting Isn't A Publicity Stunt

The drama just keeps going on.

The drama just keeps going on.

All is not well in the Five Finger Death Punch camp, it seems. Last night on stage in the Netherlands, vocalist Ivan Moody got on stage 10 minutes late, and then took the time to tell fans that this would be his last show with the band. Moody has quit the band before, back in April, and then retracted his statement, so it's difficult to say if he's actually serious this time or not.

Though unlike last time, guitarist Zoltan Bathory has taken to Twitter to say that Moody's quitting was not a publicity stunt, and he's serious.

No official statement has come from the band just yet, though they've announced a European tour with In Flames… which seems either unfortunately timed, or management isn't sure what the hell is going on either. It's also been revealed that while Moody was absent for the first two songs of the set, Bad Wolves frontman Tommy Vext took over his vocal duties. So if Moody has truly quit the band right before a major tour, maybe Vext can fill in?
