We have an update on the situation with Adrenaline Mob. On July 14, the band was struck by an eighteen-wheeler whilst on the side of Interstate 75 in Florida. The incident took the life of bassist David "David Z" Zablidowsky and left several members of the band and crew in critical condition.
In a new report from The Standard Speaker, Adrenaline Mob’s manager Larry Mazer says that Dale Campiglia and Jason McCole remain in the hospital with back injuries. Tour manager Janet Rains (aka Jane Train), remains in a hospital in Gainesville, FL with second and third-degree burns covering 62% of her body.
Mazer noted that none of the injuries are life threatening, which is a sigh of relief, but recovering from having 62% of your body burned is no easy task.
“A Benefit for the Adrenaline Mob Accident Victims” has been announced for October 12th at the Woodlands in Wilkes-Barre, a venue where Rains played weekly with her 80s cover band. The bands scheduled to play are M80, Flaxy Morgan, Gentleman East, Plus 3, Iron Cowboy, Three Imaginary Boys and others.
There is a GoFundMe for Rains to help with the medical funds.
Our best wishes to everybody involved.
