Whitechapel's lineup rarely ever changes, but when it does, it always seems to be the drummer. This time it's Ben Harclerode who's announced he's left the band, who says he hasn't even been officially in Whitechapel since May. Harclerode drummed for the group since 2011, and is temporarily being replaced by drummer Chason Westmoreland (Burning The Masses, ex-The Faceless, ex-Hate Eternal) for any upcoming shows.
No official statement has been made by Whitechapel yet, but Harclerode says he was "truly unhappy" with Whitechapel and was no longer emotionally invested in the band. So maybe not the most amicable split?
yea dude it was the hardest move I've ever made, but I was truly unhappy with wc and needed to happen. Thank you bro.

very true. I'm not emotionally invested any longer so its not fair to myself, the band or the fans for me to continue
