Brooklyn Vegan & Invisible Oranges Day Party

They may have chintzed on the gig flyer (right) but they brought the goods with the line up. Some of these acts may start to seem familiar to those who were already starved for options the first couple days of the fest, but Today Is the Day and Baptists are making their first appearances during the gig, and is there any such thing as too much KEN Mode or Pallbearer? This is the first day with any kind of competition during the afternoon, though, so see below for other options if you're trying to minimize repeats.

If you did in fact skip the Brooklyn Vegan show earlier you can catch Today Is the Day here, along with Orange Goblin, Mondo Generator, Gates of Slumber, Young Widows and the omnipresent KEN Mode. In spite of a decent variety of day parties on Friday, this is the only really stacked evening show so again: get there early. Your other options will mostly consist of bouncing around trying to get in somewhere to listen to one metal artist on an otherwise non-metal bill (see below).
