Former SLIPKNOT Drummer JAY WEINBERG Joins BOUNCING SOULS On Stage In Nashville

From Slipknot's metal fury to Bouncing Souls' punk groove

Music fans in Nashville were treated to a rare and unexpected surprise this past Sunday, December 10th, when former Slipknot drummer Jay Weinberg joined The Bouncing Souls onstage in his hometown of Nashville, marking his first public performance behind the drumkit after undergoing hip and femur surgery last month.

Weinberg, known for his powerful drumming style with the masked metal giants, seamlessly transitioned to the punk rock energy of The Bouncing Souls, much to the delight of the audience, performing the final song of the set, "True Believers". Check out the fan-filmed footage above.

Slipknot parted ways with drummer Jay Weinberg after nearly 10 years this November. Weinberg originally spoke out about his firing, saying the whole thing was a shock but was hardly the end of his career as a musician. More recently he reflected about his 10-year tenure with the band, saying he wouldn't trade it for the world.
