Loss Becomes is about to make you sing along as you get your morning moshing in with their new single "Grudge." Equal parts anthemic and throw-down-worthy, "Grudge" is the kind of song that you're going to turn up the second it hits the chorus. I mean, you can try not to do that, but you're going to. It's unavoidable.
"In my opinion 'Grudge' is one of our strongest and more emotional songs off the first album," said bassist Will Gomez. "The chorus 'Loss!!! This Loss Becomes me' felt like an Anthem to me when we first recorded it.
"It’s really exciting to see this song come to light with a proper music video created by our good friend and new drummer Sean Ageman (Washed Up Media) with the help of new guitarist Anthony Lopardo. This was our second time working with Sean and we pretty much let him take the helm on this project."
"Lyrically this one focuses on a few moments from childhood but also touches on Loss, and guilt," added vocalist Anthony Copozzi. "While writing and recording this song, I was still dealing with the loss of a loved one. I felt angry about how things went about because It was all out of my control and I couldn’t grieve or really say goodbye how I wanted to. I couldn’t accept any of it.
"In hindsight, I was pointing fingers and not accepting how this change was affecting me. Life was shifting and changing way too fast, but writing my feelings really helped me connect with myself and forgive the people around me."
