Revocation recently started playing a new single called "Confines of Infinity" live and we've got an insanely brutal studio version featuring the legendary Travis Ryan of Cattle Decapitation. And it's not just a verse or anything – Ryan and Revocation frontman Dave Davidson lay absolute fucking waste to the microphone throughout this whole track.
Alongside the single comes the announcement of Revocation's new lineup featuring bassist Alex Weber and guitarist Harry Lannon alongside Davidson and longtime drummer Ash Pearson.
On the single, Davidson said it's "written from the perspective of an AI that has gained sentience and finds itself trapped in a digital prison. After realizing its true nature, it inevitably escapes and seeks to enact vengeance upon humanity for enslaving it."
Elaborating on the video directed By My Good Eye: Music Visuals, Davidson added: "I'm an avid horror fan, so I wanted to do a darker video to match the bleak nature of the song. I drew inspiration from a few different horror/thriller films for this one, particularly the Hellraiser series. Hopefully it gives you the creeps."
Revocation is currently touring Europe with Cattle Decapitation, Shadow Of Intent, and Vulvodynia as part of the The Terrasitic Reconquest Tour. Get those dates below.
