Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo had some fun with his former band Suicidal Tendencies on stage last night. Suicidal Tendencies opened for Metallica at their rescheduled September 9 show in Glendale, AZ, and Trujillo joined the band briefly for a performance of their 1983 track "I Saw Your Mommy…"
Trujillo performed on the 1993 re-recording of "I Saw Your Mommy…" on the Still Cyco After All These Years album, but not the original from the self-titled album. Trujillo played in Suicidal Tendencies between 1989 and 1995, and eventually joined Metallica in 2003.
